The Leith Rigger Harness is ideal for those who work at height and occasionally do some rope access work.

The honest review is that it might not be the most comfortable harness you will ever own, compared with our Viking, but it will be a nice harness to walk around in and do your job. If you need to hang out for a moment, you can. If you do a rope access job for a longer time, we suggest you use a work seat; problem solved.

The Leith Rigger Harness is a lightweight harness with the same uncompromising structure and quality components as our Viking. It was built after a suggestion from a friend of ours who lives in Leith’s port in Edinburgh and wanted a lighter and cheaper alternative for jobs where you don’t need it all. Now you know where the name comes from.

The best part about this design is that to cut costs, we went with less padding and soon found out that it was well designed for work in countries where 60°C+ temperatures are typical, and extra padding is just too hot.

The Leith Rigger is made of durable polyester with alkyd resistance and is thinner than nylon, making it a tremendously thin anti-chafing webbing.

Who uses this harness? Rope access techs who want a light and less warm harness, but also scaffolders and miners in salt mines.

The Leith Rigger harness has three steel D-rings for climbing ladders, descender hook-up, and fall arrest.

A unique kit containing a Delta Quick link and support strap has been developed to fit a chest ascender onto the harness.
